Betsy Hamm is a fractional CEO and growth strategist who helps franchise and hospitality brands scale with operational discipline, strategic clarity, and strong leadership. She partners with founders, executive teams, and investors to align brand, operations, and people as organizations navigate periods of growth, transformation, and expansion.
Betsy brings executive experience across marketing, operations, and enterprise leadership, with a career spanning franchising, foodservice, and hospitality. She is recognized for building scalable organizations, developing high-performing leadership teams, and helping brands grow without losing the culture and identity that made them successful.
Betsy joined Duck Donuts in 2016 as Chief Marketing Officer and grew with the company through every stage of its evolution. Over eight years, she advanced from CMO to Chief Operating Officer and ultimately Chief Executive Officer, helping scale the brand from approximately 20 locations to nearly 200 across the United States and nine international markets. She also guided the organization through a successful private equity acquisition, leading the operational transformation required to support its next phase of growth.
Prior to Duck Donuts, Betsy spent more than 15 years with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts, leading marketing across one of the nation’s most recognized hospitality destinations. Her work supported millions of annual visitors across theme parks, resorts, entertainment venues, and destination experiences, strengthening both brand performance and guest engagement.
Today, Betsy serves as a fractional executive and strategic advisor to founders and leadership teams building the next generation of restaurant and franchise brands. Her work focuses on organizational alignment, scalable operations, leadership development, and strategic execution—helping businesses build the infrastructure and leadership capacity required for sustainable growth.
