Shari Eaton is an experienced operations and human resources executive with a career defined by building scalable organizations, strengthening leadership teams, and aligning people strategy with business performance. She grew up in the restaurant industry, developing an early, firsthand understanding of frontline operations, customer experience, and workforce dynamics before beginning her long tenure at Starbucks Coffee Company. There, she built deep expertise in large-scale operations, frontline workforce strategy, and culture-driven growth within a global brand, shaping the practical, operator-oriented approach that defines her leadership today.
With deep experience across HR, operations, and organizational design, Shari is known for translating strategy into execution. She has led enterprise-wide initiatives spanning talent strategy, workforce planning, compensation and equity programs, operating model design, and leadership development. Her approach is grounded in data, financial fluency, and a clear understanding of how labor, culture, and incentives impact the P&L—making her a trusted partner to CEOs, boards, finance, and operations leaders.
Shari is particularly recognized in the industry for her ability to guide companies through pivotal moments, including high-growth scaling with a large majority of hourly employees, restructurings, leadership transitions, and pre-IPO readiness. She served as Chief People Officer at Peloton and Chobani, where she led these efforts firsthand—building and evolving people and operating models capable of supporting rapid growth while maintaining accountability, performance,
culture. In both organizations, she was known for creating modern, credible HR functions (small -> large teams) that balanced compliance, care, and performance with a sharp focus on productivity, engagement, and long-term value creation.
