Angela Argo
Angela Argo is a fractional strategy and leadership advisor who partners with founders and executive teams when the strategies, structures, and leadership approaches that once worked stop delivering results. She specializes in leadership effectiveness, operating models, and people systems that directly impact execution, accountability, and performance.
Angela brings a rare combination of operational depth and human insight. Her background in restaurant and retail operations, including co-founding a tech-enabled staffing company and scaling a distributed workforce of more than 300 employees, shapes a grounded, execution-focused approach. She works at both the structural and human level, helping leaders address not just what needs to change, but how change actually takes hold inside the organization.
Previously, Angela served as Vice President of People and Chief of Staff at Freshii, where she partnered closely with the CEO and executive leadership team during a period of rapid global growth. She helped scale head office by more than 10x and led people strategy across Freshii’s corporate organization and global franchise system, supporting over 400 locations in 18 countries and more than 5,000 team members.
During her tenure, Angela built Freshii’s first global leadership and franchise training programs, served as an executive coach to senior leaders, and played a central role in guiding the organization through the pandemic with less than 3 percent unwanted turnover. She also oversaw enterprise initiatives, including the acquisition of Natura Market, further strengthening her experience navigating complexity at scale.
Today, Angela works as a trusted fractional partner to founder-led companies across technology, DTC, professional services, and consumer businesses. She is often brought in during high-stakes moments such as restructurings, leadership transitions, cultural resets, or when growth has outpaced the organization’s operating model. Unlike traditional HR or advisory support, Angela does not optimize policies or manage vendors — she helps leaders redesign how decisions are made, how teams are structured, and how accountability actually works.
She is known for her clarity, candor, and ability to help leaders confront the structural issues beneath surface-level symptoms, enabling organizations to move into their next phase of growth with discipline and confidence.
